The Institute for OneWorld Health is a non-profit pharmaceutical company whose goal is to develop cheap medical cures for the diseases that plague developing countries. Many of these diseases are not researched by pharmaceutical companies because these companies could not make a profit selling the cures to developing countries. OneWorld Health is not driven by profit, but instead by the mission to develop safe, effective, and affordable new medicines for those
most in need.

OneWorld Health is currently in the process of conducting the final trials in India for a cure for Visceral Leishmaniasis. There is approximately 500,000 new cases of this disease annually and it kills as many as 200,000 people every year. The new cure being tested by OneWorld Health, called paromomycin, will help millions of people and save hundreds of thousands of lives.

OneWorld Health is currently developing many other drugs, including treatments for diarrheal disease, malaria, and chagas disease. With your help and donations, you have a chance to help this wonderful organization save millions of lives. More information about OneWorld Health can be found at www.oneworldhealth.org and information about donating is available here.
