M&Ms Are Cannibals
For some reason this caught my eye in the latest M&Ms commercial. The M&Ms are eating a bag of M&Ms. They are cannibals. They eat their young.

We’re Having a Baby
Most of our family should know by now, so I think it is a good time to share our news with the rest of the Internet. Aliciana and I are having a baby!
The baby is due at the end of April. We are very excited… so much so that I am even open to the possibility of changing diapers.
The baby is already acting like a little monkey. Look at it already standing on its head.

Ubuntu 7.10 – Riding the Gutsy Gibbon
My upgrade to the latest Ubuntu, version 7.10 aka “Gutsy Gibbon”, went off without a hitch. Open Office feels faster, I now can use the version of Thunderbird in the main repository, and I have some really cool desktop effect with Compiz Fusion. Check out the screenshot below… real transparent terminals and drop shadows around my windows. Little eye candy to make the best Linux distribution even better.
