We took the boys hiking in San Diego in San Clemente Canyon. I guess it is kinda urban hiking but on short notice it was the best we could do. It was close enough to a full on nature experience for the boys to enjoy.

We took the boys to La Jolla’s Children’s Pool where some seals like to hang out. Being a seal is a pretty good life… unless you get eaten.

The boys love to play in Grandpa Eddie and Grandma Sally’s backyard.

We headed to Mando’s house in Highland to meet up with the San Diego Loera clan to celebrate Eddie’s 60th birthday. Along the way we had some delicious brews at Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in nearby Redlands. I highly recommend the double IPA… one of the best I have had the chance to enjoy.

Lots of kiddos and their parents stopped by Grandma’s house to show off their costumes.

A delicious Thanksgiving with the Loera clan. I’m thankful for good food, loving family, and my monkeys and beautiful wife. Life is good.

Connor trying to figure out why the play laptop doesn’t work as good as the real ones. Then we go check out the beach in Coronado. I love the beach in winter… so peaceful and calming.

Gavin is good at putting the ornaments on the tree and Connor is good at taking them off.

The boys got to open their presents a day early because we would be in San Diego for Christmas Day. All our family and friends were too generous with their giving. The boys thank everyone for their new stuff.
